I went photographing snow covered city and after couple of shots, guess what - ERROR (Err20) showed on my Canon 500D (T1i) screen.

I believe it's broken shutter (after 20.000 photos, and they have tested it to 100.000 firings......bad), because I had the same situation with Canon 400D, 2 years ago...but 400D had over 100.000 firings (and shutter is tested for 50.000 firings).


So I will not be able to take photos for 1-2 months, since local Canon guys are slow and will not fix it in few days (like in EU or USA)...

So no photos this winter.



Does anyone have some spare Canon 5d markII to borrow/give me?
